The dress....

Next is to find dresses as I guess this is one issue that may be difficult to find.
Saw a shop at Suntec Level 1 (Miso) and they offered a range of nice dresses.
Managed to see a few pieces but wanted to look around first.
I opted off Daniel Yam as the gowns were pretty common.
I got a design in my mind and hope to find something identical.
At first I thought of doing ala-carle and that is to find a dress outside and then find a make up cum hairdo artist.
Sarah helped me asked her cousin and they have the below offer:

This will be part of the plan if let’s say I find a nice dress.
Went to a few places like Isetan, Taka but cannot really find something ideal.
Went to a few bridal shops at MS with Jul but mostly offered few ROM packages after signing for their bridal package.
I don't want to commit to any bridal package yet and some offered 400-500 for ROM packages.
After much findings, I came across dress me up. www.dressmeup.com.sg
They do custom made designs for rent or for sales.
The lady, Sandy Ho is a very nice advisor and I am pleased with her prompt response.
Jul and I went to her house to take a look at their ranges of designs.
Sandy got 12 years of experience in her make up artist skills.
And has converted 1 room in her house to be a display room.
She offered me this package which includes:
All for $400.
It sounds pretty reasonable but seriously now thinking back I wonder why I need to keep the dress.
But there again, it sounds reasonable.
The only worry is will the dress turn out nice.

I got my dress and I am pretty happy with it.
Overall I like the behind most.
Color may be a little bit darker than I choose that day but this color look nice with a bit of shimmer.
I find it a bit long and so i went to alter it.
As this is not considered as the tailor mistake, they will be charging about $6-15 bucks for amendment.
The first person I shown was Jul. She finds the dress nice and dainty too. =))
Shown it to Sarah and Feli too but Sarah spotted that I may look fat by the hips.
I did notice that maybe due to the slash that is a bit low.
As Feli suggested, I tried with my heels but still I find it better if it is shorten a little.
Hong urged me to go. Aiya he knows I won’t be happy until I make the changes.
But I did not show this dress to Hong.
Wanted to surprise him by only showing him on that day.
And so my dress is settled!.
