We decided to hold a ROM first then the customary wedding later.
Our initial date was to be 16 June but as it was on weekdays and so we decided the ROM reception to be on the 6 June 2009.
I got lots of ideas but I got to keep reminding myself that I shouldn't spend so much on this ceremony. With constant reminders from Lyn and Brother.
First issue on the task is to find a simple venue within our budget.
Considered quite a number of places and I really like the idea of outdoor solemnization.
But of cause there are the pros and cons to it.
I was thinking of:
SAF Yacht Club @ Sembawang
Orchard Country Club
Mandai Orchid Club
Seletar Country Club
Gardenaisa
Secret Garden
Chalets
Got their quotations but well, mostly are over our budget.
Thanks to the helps of friends and Hong sis.
Hong sis helped us to call Grassroots club at NYP and they do have a room that day.

With a function hall and simple do-up decorations, chairs cost around $700+ for 4 hours.
Buffet will be in-house costing around $10-$14 per head.
Coordinate with the person and luckily I got a nice guy to coordinate with who response within hours of my request.
We went down to take a look at the venue. Simple small room.
Cosy enough.
And so we decided on it and next will be the decorations to add in!
